About:
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Almira Ada Diken Türksayar completed her education at Hacettepe University, Faculty of Dentistry in 2014, having enrolled in 2009.
After working for a time as a general dentist in a private clinic, she passed the DUS exam and began her specialty training in Prosthodontics at Kırıkkale University, Faculty of Dentistry. She completed this training as a Research Assistant in 2019.
From 2020 to 2023, she served as an Assistant Professor at Biruni University in the same field. Between October 2022 and January 2024, she worked as a guest researcher at Carinthia University of Applied Sciences in Austria through the TÜBİTAK 2219 Postdoctoral International Researcher Scholarship.
She was awarded the title of Associate Professor in August 2023 and currently serves as a faculty member at Biruni University, Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Prosthodontics. Since April 2024, she has also been working as a Visiting Researcher at Charité University Hospital in Berlin, Germany.
Dr. Almira Ada Diken Türksayar is also a keynote speaker for 3DISC Intraoral Scanner. She is a leading researcher in the fields of additive manufacturing technologies, materials produced with 3D printers, and digital dentistry. She conducts research both in Turkey and abroad, contributing significantly to advancements in her field.
Case Descriptions:
Panoramic radiographs revealed that the patient was edentulous in the maxilla, with insufficient space for implant placement in the posterior region due to the proximity of the maxillary sinus.
In the mandible, inadequate bone support and failed root canal treatments were observed on the remaining teeth. As a result, it was decided to extract all existing teeth and proceed with an All-on-4 treatment in both the upper and lower jaws.
