Dr. Lotfi Lazrak, a graduate of Mohamed V University in Rabat, Morocco, is a multidisciplinary dentist. He is distinguished by his extensive expertise in various fields such as oral surgery, implantology, orthodontics, laser dentistry, and dental aesthetics. His academic and professional background is rich and diverse, including a university diploma in implantology and oral and maxillofacial surgery from Paul Sabatier University (Toulouse, France) and a diploma in dento-facial orthopedics from the University of Burgundy (France).
Dr. Lazrak is a laureate of the Charles H. Tweed Foundation for Orthodontic Research (Arizona, USA) and holds a Mastership in Laser Therapy in Dentistry from RWTH Aachen University (Germany). He has also earned several certifications in facial aesthetics, covering ceramic veneers, hyaluronic acid, and botulinum toxin.
A recognized speaker on both the national and international stage, Dr. Lazrak is also an author of scientific articles and teaches a master’s course in implantology at the Faculty of Dental Medicine in Rabat. Additionally, he serves as the President of the Moroccan Academy of Laser Dentistry (MALD) and is a former President of the Amicale des Chirurgiens-Dentistes de Tanger (ACDT).

A 43-year-old man who lost tooth 26 without rehabilitation experienced subsequent bone resorption of the sub-sinus crest. A sinus lift using a vestibular approach was performed with sinus grafting. After 4 months, a 4.2/12 mm implant was placed, and 3 months later, following osseointegration, a digital impression was taken using the 3DISC OVO intraoral scanner according to the following protocol:
1-Impression of the emergence profile
2-Impression of the scan body
3-Impression of the occlusion
4-Impression of the straight titanium abutment, 5 mm diameter, 2 mm height
The crown was designed, milled, and delivered within 24 hours.
